Motorhome Vagabond Travel Bug – An Update

On 21st October I placed a VW campervan toy in a Geocache in Boscastle, Cornwall. A few days later I did an article explaining what Geocaching is and promised that we would update readers about the travels of the Motorhome Vagabond Travel Bug.

The travel bug remained in the Boscastle cache for just 9 days before it was taken by daveharpist who introduced it to another travel bug which had an uncanny resemblence!

Motorhome Vagabond meets his twin!

Daveharpist kept hold of our travel bug until one snowy day at the end of January when he placed him in a cache called Lilley Walk – Stumped! (GC3GQTQ). I’d like to tell you more about this cache but the cache owner decided it was one for premium members only so all I can say is that it was based over 300km away in Eastern England.

It remained there until 3rd March when it was found by parvoboy. I’ll update you again soon when our van moves on. Thanks to daveharpist for kindly photographing our Vagabond van.
